- watch and share this short video that really hammers home the point about psych drugs, questioning the moral and ethical issues. "Prozac, Zoloft and many other psycho-pharmaceuticals are being used on zoo animals to control behavior. The new book, "Animal Madness: How Anxious Dogs, Compulsive Parrots and Elephants in Recovery Help Us Understand Ourselves", admits that it seems like anthropomorphism to talk about mental illness in animals. But are we engaging in reverse anthropomorphism, treating humans like animals? We use behavior modification techniques and pharmaceuticals to control behavior of humans, yet zoo keepers are ashamed to admit they give the same drugs to animals in the zoo". What are mass murder pills? http://www.infowars.com/what-are-mass-murder-pills/ Source: Infowars.com American Mother Maryanne Godboldo garnered international attention when she refused to place her child on the potentially lethal psychiatric drug, Risperdal. Child Protective Services then coordinated and illegal seizure of her child along with swat teams and a tank. A judge later ruled that the illegal seizure violated Maryanne's constitutional rights - but not before Maryanne was placed in prison and her daughter into a psychiatric ward, drugged against her mother's will.
Attorney Allison Folmar has successfully defended Maryanne Godboldo on numerous occasions and won every case. But as Folmar states, this is is an issue happening to parents across America who refuse to drug their children. They are being illegally seized and drugged with parents charged with medical neglect. The charge of "medical neglect" is an oxymoron when it comes to the issue of psychiatric labels and drugs because A) there are no medical/scientific tests to prove any child diagnosed "mentally ill" has a medical condition of "mental illness" as none exists and B) Because the psychiatric drugs prescribed against the parents will have been documented by international drug regulatory agencies to cause mania, psychosis, suicidal ideation, heart problems, diabetes, stroke and sudden death. The "medical neglect" being perpetrated on these children is by those forcibly drugging them against their parents wishes. View the blog-post below to watch the full story of Maryanne Godboldo: http://groovyperspective.weebly.com/1/post/2012/11/everyone-needs-to-see-this-story-congratulations-to-maryanne-godboldo.html This video is American, however the situation isn't perfect in the UK. If you are concerned about human rights abuses of someone you know in the field of mental health contact Citizens Commission on Human Rights (United Kingdom) - www.cchr.org.uk What is the best economic system? Capitalism? Economic Marxism? Something else not tried yet? Although Russell Brand might say, "Communism is a good idea as it is about sharing, the Russians just didn't do it right". In my view Economic Marxism - Communism / Socialism doesn't work, as people need a goal to aim towards and ultimately want personal freedom, with less state intervention. However, it could be argued we do need more equality. The welfare state is an element of socialism we have and do need. It's great we have the NHS, and social security is there for those on hard times or unable to work due to poor health or disability. We seem to presently have elements of both capitalism and socialism in the UK. When the bankers fouled up, the state stepped in. In true capitalism those banks would have failed and gone out of business, experiencing the same outcome as many other businesses that have gone to the wall. I don't believe the saying - "money is the root of all evil". Money and what you can do with it, is part of our survival. Does money make you happy? I'm sure if you only a little, having more will make you happier by giving you more choices, because of what you are able to do with it. One of the root causes of the problem of our present economic system, and in fact most economies around the world, is the debt-based monetary system. All money is debt, when it is issued from a central bank. My understanding is that the treasury doesn't issue the money, it's the Bank of England, a central bank, just like the Federal reserve in the US, that issues the currency and neither are fully transparent it seems. The debt-based system and the conspiracy between politicians and the bankers and global corporations, who meet behind closed doors at meetings such the Bilderberg conference are the real problem, not money itself. This blog post I did a while back might be of interest for those interested in this discussion. It includes a video presentation by Jon Witterick, a researcher on the topic of debt and money. Essentially I feel free enterprise and entrepreneurialism are a great thing. Entrepreneurs aren't simply money-mad greedy people, they often have a creative vision and a society needs an element of this to keep improving the economy of a nation. Where it goes wrong, is corruption and greed. Morals and ethics are key also, as is an element of altruism to want to help others by giving something back of your success. The seminar is based around the documentary - THE AGE OF FEAR: PSYCHIATRY'S REIGN OF TERROR. It examines the origins of psychiatry, focussing on Germany, the association with eugenics and the Nazis. Coming up to date, it questions how much has really changed post WW2 in the area of human rights abuses by psychiatrists, questioning the forcible drugging and snatching of children from their parents under the banner of mental health. Containing shocking personal testimonies and stark inside footage, the documentary tells the true story of psychiatry's sordid history and current practices, revealing how its reliance on brutality and coercion has not changed since the moment it was born. £5 per person. I LOVE this video! It's so true!
Giving a young person a label, (especially a bogus psychiatric mental disorder) can hinder the persons true potential in life. In fact it could prevent an individual from discovering their true purpose and abilities. From CCHR: 20 Million Kids & Adolescents are labeled with "mental disorders" that are based solely on a checklist of behaviors. There are no brain scans, x-rays, genetic or blood tests that can prove they are "mentally ill", yet these children are stigmatized for life with psychiatric disorders, and prescribed dangerous,life-threatening psychiatric drugs. From Grimsby Telegraph, quoting CCHR national spokesman Brian Daniels on ADHD: Naughty children – or do they have an illness? http://www.thisisgrimsby.co.uk/Naughty-children-ndash-illness/story-19517940-detail/story.html#axzz2Z824evhK Grimsby Telegraph asks: Is there too much emphasis on drugs to treat such illness these days? Comment and have your say. Amazing how true these character traits (bad habits?) are! It might be worth taking a look and swapping around some of your old habits if you have yet to achieve the success you desire. It's great to be aware, and reading self help books is great too, giving you inspiration and motivation in the short-term. To create real long-term change towards your journey of success, at whatever you want to achieve, it's important to implement the knowledge you gained into NEW habits to be truly successful. Be patient with yourself, it takes time, don't worry if you stumble at the first hurdle. Pick yourself up and keep going! I was watching a docu-movie recently, that mentioned a key point that stood out to me: A vast percentage of what we do on a daily basis is subconscious - we aren't aware and don't need be, because we've been programmed to do it for so long we can go into automatic pilot. Brushing your teeth for example or typing on a keyboard like I'm doing right now - I don't have to consciously think where all the keys are, because I've repeatedly typed on the keyboard many, may times. Hope that is clear to you and inspires you? Your feedback is appreciated, by commenting. Thanks. Flourish and prosper! - Duane This video shows the Chen style Tai Chi form I'm currently learning.
